What up CoverGirl awesomeness
And jazz hands, and kick, and jazz hands, and kick. No, I’m not in fact losing my mind. That’s me doing a happy dance for receiving $30 whole dollars in the mail from CoverGirl to spend on makeup at Krogers. What up sweet, sweet awesomeness?
After arriving at Krogers without the littles (never, I mean NEVER take the littles to the grocery store if you’re not interested in buying 10 candy bars, five boxes of random cereal and two half-eaten slim jims) I headed straight for the makeup aisle. OK you got me, I actually headed straight to the bakery and told the guy behind the counter that I needed a free cookie for my kid and he totally bought it. Sucka.
After sucking face with my free cookie, I really did head over to the makeup aisle and then it happened. No I didn’t pee my pants, but I did hear angels singing as I made my way to the CoverGirl section. You got me, I’m lying again, I did pee my pants just a tad. Hey, I have had two kids.
After staring blankly at the wall for 20 minutes and getting odd looks from some other shoppers, I made my $30 makeup decision (drum roll please):
-Lip gloss times two
-Trueblend coverup times two (don’t judge, I have a lot of stuff to cover)
I also decided that I’m indecisive. But I think there’s medication for that.
Not shown: Krogers’ checkout lady looking at me like I’m insane for being so freaking giddy over my new makeup haul. Hey, it’s not like I wake up looking this awesome. This girl needs to put on her face before anyone sees me — even my dog gets a little frightened of me in the morning and she’s not such a looker herself.
In conclusion, I’m totally in love with CoverGirl. Like, I kinda want to make out with my new makeup in a dark closet. What? Like you’ve never played seven minutes in heaven with some lipgloss and eyeliner. Jeez.
