This morning, my daughter pointed to my belly and said, “pillow", which leads me to believe that I ate too much on vacation.

I loved my vacation, but I’ve never been so happy to see a Monday morning. Let’s just say there was not a whole lot of napping. Let’s just say there was none at all.

Oh and here’s a sample of our flight back, “MOMMMYYYYY. WAAAAAAA. MOMMMMMYYYYY. WAAAAA.” It was especially fun when we arrived back in Atlanta but had to sit on the plane for an hour as we waited for a gate.

Other than that, we had a great time. We ate way too much and didn’t exercise at all, which is surprisingly similar to my life when I’m not on vacation. Since my pants are all tight today, I’ve decided to focus on a distraction – like these amazing hats from Worthy Goods.

The hat is adorable but I bet if you put the kid on a plane for four hours he would not look so freakishly cute.

By the way, the hubby went for a physical this morning. Quote from his doctor, “You’re fit as hell.” I guess being manorexic really does pay off.

  • If you’re not writing a book, I hope you’re writing commercials or something. Like I told you before, you’re frickin’ hilarious. I gotta be honest, I don’t care what you’ve found on Etsy. I just love reading the titles of your posts. They put a smile on my face. Wish I could hang out with you cuz I know you’d have me in stitches. That would surely firm up my ‘pillow’ belly.

  • @Dory – thanks and you’re super talented and lucky to live in Maine 🙂
@Lisa – I love that you love the blog. I have done commercials, radio and print ads in the past but currently most of my work is on websites, web banners, etc. This Internet stuff seems to be really catching on. The blog is totally my creative outlet and who knows, maybe a book one day 🙂

  • We have a vacation saying that goes like this…When in France, wear tight pants….(then eat some more!)
