Note to self, never take the kids with when buying large ticket items. Ever.

I have literally never spent so much money so quickly. We were practically throwing money at the store just so we could get our kids out of there before they wrecked the entire place. And now we have a washer and dryer sitting in our living room because they won’t fit in our laundry room until we finish our laundry room redo. When will it be done, you ask? Well first we need to start it. Oy vey.

Lesson learned. Assuming your kids also learned some good lessons this year, you’ll probably want to reward their teachers with something they’ll actually use. Not to be rude, but I’m pretty sure they’vealready received their fair share of bath soaps, personalized clipboards and smelly candles. So, how about getting them something they can actually use from Oktak.

This sunglass case is so awesome that it may actually help teachers forget the awful kids they had to teach all year. I’m not pointing any fingers at your kid, but yeah, I sort of am.

And now I’m off to do my laundry. In my living room. Oh how I wish I was exaggerating.

  • Thanks so much for featuring my shop! Hope you’re able to get your W/D in the laundry room soon – I know exactly what you mean, I’ve 2 kids too & been there myself 😀

  • True story: my sister was a special education teacher for an inner-city school. She always had great stories
to share, but the best one was an end-of-the year gift from one of her students. A tube of Vagisil.

And I am ordering one of those cute little coin purses today!
