Last night I watched ‘This is 40’ and by 10PM I was so tired that I had to save the rest for today. Now that is 40.

These will be mine, oh yes, they will be mine.
The movie is hil-ar-ious especially because a week from today I turn 37 years old, so you know, 40 is just a hop skip and jump away.  I’m actually really OK with my age. Seriously.

A pair of wedding shoes perhaps?
Who cares if I have bags under my eyes and gray hair that seems to spread by the second? And so what if I tore two ligaments in my ankle by falling to the ground? Not me. No siree bob.
What I do care about getting a fun gift for my birthday (hey, I’m old but just as greedy as a 16 year old). And what I really want are these amazing shoes from The Drifter Leather.  What girl wouldn’t want a pair of custom made shoes?

Must have for Fall.
Of course the next time I need custom shoes, I’m assuming it will be for a pair of orthopedics.
*You have one shopping week left until my birthday. Hint, hint, wink, wink.

  • Oh my gosh, that movie was AMAZING. My hubs and I watched it together, and yes, it’s amazing we stayed awake for an entire movie. I swear I was peeing myself through the whole thing, and not just because I’ll be turning 38 this year and have a weak bladder. My husband is 45, so I got to point and laugh at him, which always makes a girl feel good. My favorite line from the whole thing was when he was riding his bike and yelled, Best. Birthday. Ever. I seriously need to watch it again. Hilarious.
