For realz, Taylor is milking the system. Today she was up at 4:30AM FOR. THE. DAY. I get that she loves her new room and all, but come on.
Can’t I just send her away to boot camp and she’ll come back home ready to sleep? I’m thinking there are a few other million parents out there that want this too.
Not to brag or anything (totally bragging), but I cleaned out my son’s entire closet yesterday and gave boxes and boxes of baby clothes to a friend. Now that his closet is actually something I can enter, I’m thinking of turning it into some sort of play area/office/place for him to go while I crawl into bed and nap.
Nothing would be more perfect for the area than an awesome desk from Plydea.
And check out this lounge chair – me like to lounge.
You know what else goes well with a lounge chair and a playing child? A wine rack. Duh.

Incidentally, I had one that got up before the butt crack of dawn pretty much every day, and that never changes. It’s a good thing now that he’s a teen and he has to be up at 6 to catch the bus.
