Is it just me or do you wish you could go back to summer camp?

Nothing in the world was better than that feeling of getting on the bus and heading into the mountains for overnight camp. In fact, most of my besties today were my bunk mates a long, long time ago.

Just because I can’t go to summer camp anymore doesn’t mean other kids can’t. And unlike the days of yesteryear where moms used sharpies that inevitably leaked onto every shirt, they can now easily label clothes (that will surely get lost or ruined anyway) with Mabel’s Labels

The Limited Edition Camp Combo Packs are UV resistant, waterproof labels and tags designed especially for everything that goes to summer camp. Identify clothes, footwear, toiletries, swim gear, backpacks and more with this seasonal essential. Best of all, save $2 and receive a free gift (while supplies last) when you purchase before 4/30.

Now if I could just figure out a way to fit in a trunk and sneak into camp. Do kids still pack in trunks or did I just really age myself?

First row. Third from the left.  I thought the side-do was really cool.

  • I only ever got to go to day camp, but I didn’t really like that, so I guess my parents intrinsically knew that regular camp just wouldn’t have worked out.

I still wear my hair like that sometimes… whoops.
