I don’t want to sound presumptuous or anything, but I may just be the next Julia Child.

This afternoon I baked a Boeuf à la Bourguignonne for my family to enjoy for dinner tonight. I slaved for hours and hours and hours. And it was cooked to absolute perfection.

April Fools people. Do you not know me by now? I seriously pitty the fool that actually eats my Boeuf à la Bourguignonne. I actually failed French in High School (and home economics if we’re talking about our failures.)

Fortunately, I know the right places to purchase food that not only looks good, but also tastes yummolicious (yes, that’s a word).

I must have these cookies from Linda’s Edible Art. I’m actually not sure how I have survived without them for so long.

By the way, tomorrow marks my six-year wedding anniversary with the hubby. How are we celebrating? I’m taking the kids to the beach with my parents while the hubby stays home because he has to work. And that my friends, is the key to a successful marriage. Can I get an AMEN?
