Heading to my first blogging conference. Like right now!

Even though I’ve been blogging for a few years now, sometimes it still feels surreal that anyone actually reads it. And what’s even more shocking is that people come back to read it again.

I truly feel fortunate to have this little space to write freely. And I’m also super thankful that no one has sent me to the Looney Bin after reading some of my stories (but who knows, this conference may be a staged intervention that ends in a Looney Bin).

So you can imagine my surprise when I was asked to attend ThinkTank. It’s a yearly conference where only 100 bloggers are asked to come (it’s in Denver this year!) and get spoiled for a few days while meeting representatives from the amazing companies that advertise on Etsy Stalkers. So in the next few days I get to chat with the peeps from Zulily, Blurb.com, ModCloth, One King’s Lane, and more!

And what does this mean for you? I’ll be able to offer more customized and exclusive deals just for my readers. Yay! Stay tuned because I’m going to try and give you updates along the way. And until then, I’m going to take a nap on this flight. Because I’m travelling. Without my kids.

  • In this awesome design of things you actually get a B- for effort and hard work. Where you lost me personally ended up being on the facts. You know, people say, the devil is in the details… And it could not be much more accurate here. Having said that, let me inform you what exactly did deliver the results. The text is certainly rather powerful and this is probably why I am taking the effort in order to opine. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, although I can easily see the leaps in reasoning you come up with, I am not convinced of exactly how you seem to unite the points which inturn help to make the actual final result. For the moment I will, no doubt subscribe to your position however hope in the future you connect the facts much better.
