Can someone please explain to me what a 140.6 bumper sticker means? That the person is insane?

I’ve seen 13.1 and 26.2 bumper stickers before, but the other day I saw one that read 140.6 . Is this something a person does as a form of self-inflicted punishment? Like being a cutter? I don’t get the person that would choose to run 140.6 miles. And I’m thankful I have no friends that choose to run that much. Or at all.

I’m also thankful that it’s the Friday before Thanksgiving! Are you prepared for it? Of course you aren’t. That’s why today I’m introducing you to adorable printables from Lisa Kay Designs.

Your guests don’t even have to know that you printed these an hour before they arrived. And now I’m off to eat a second lunch before my first dinner. Hey, I’m in serious training for the Thanksgiving Day meal. These pants aren’t going to stretch themselves out.

And in case you’re actually interested in working off your dinner, check these out:

  • 140.6 is reserved for the most extreme fitness fanatics – The Ironman. Here’s the math – 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and full marathon (26.2).

So if you see a 70.3 sticker – that would be the Half Ironman. 🙂

    I just have the 26.2. 😉

  • Yes ma’am its the IronMan race…only crazy derranged people who want to torture their bodies do that…starts at 6am ends at midnight. Ill sit in my strechy pants at home watching a movie while they torture themselves 🙂
